Domingue, 29, has appeared in one game with Pittsburgh this season, turning aside 40 of 41 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over San Jose on Jan. 15 before being sidelined with a lower-body injury.
The 6-foot-3, 208-pound Domingue has also played in 22 games for the WBS Penguins this season, going 10-9-2 with a .924 save percentage and 2.41 goals-against average. His save percentage is on pace to be an AHL career high for him.
The native of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec has played 141 games in the NHL over the past seven seasons with Pittsburgh, Arizona, Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Vancouver and Calgary. Domingue has compiled a 59-59-10 record at the NHL level with a 3.04 goals-against average, .905 save percentage and two shutouts.
The Penguins return to action tomorrow afternoon against the Boston Bruins at 12:30 PM at TD Garden.
