The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled goaltender Maxime Lagace from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Lagace, 28, holds a 4-3-2 record, 2.30 goals against average and .907 save percentage this season with WBS. Lagace has served as back up for Pittsburgh in three games this season but has yet to see action with the Penguins.
The Saint-Augustin, Quebec native has 17 NHL games to his name, all with the Vegas Golden Knights from 2017-19. His last NHL start came February 1, 2019 against Carolina.
Tonight, Pittsburgh plays its last road game of the regular season when it takes on the Philadelphia Flyers. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM.
