The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed college free agent forward Ty Glover to a three-year, entry-level contract, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

The contract will begin in the 2022-23 season and run through 2024-25, and carries an average annual value of $859,000 at the NHL level. He will report to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League this season on an amateur tryout contract.
Glover, 21, recently finished a two-year collegiate career at Western Michigan University from 2020-22. The forward played 39 games this season, recording eight goals, 13 assists and 21 points. His 13 assists ranked eighth on his team, while his goal and point totals both ranked ninth among his teammates.
In 63 career games at Western Michigan, the 6-foot-3, 201-pound forward recorded 13 goals, 19 assists and 32 points.
Prior to his collegiate career, the Salford, GBR native played one season with the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League, tallying eight goals, six assists and 14 points in 47 games.
