The Pittsburgh Penguins will be honoring Evgeni Malkin's 1000th game milestone in a special pre-game ceremony on Wednesday, November 23 at 7:00 PM.

Prior to their game on Wednesday against the Calgary Flames at PPG Paints Arena, the Penguins will hold a ceremony celebrating Malkin becoming the 373rd player in NHL history to skate in 1,000 career games on Sunday in Chicago. A special video will be played highlighting moments throughout Malkin's career, as well as congratulatory messages from current and past teammates. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats prior to 7:00 PM for the pre-game ceremony.
Malkin became the 32nd active player to skate in 1,000 career games in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks at the United Center. Malkin, who is in his 17th season with the Penguins, is only the 65th player in NHL history to play in his first 1,000 games with one team, and became the second Penguin to play in 1,000 games with the team, following captain Sidney Crosby.
