\All expected players took part in the practice, including injured defenseman Kris Letang (upper-body) and forward Conor Sheary (eye).
\Goaltender Matt Murray will make his first start of the season Wednesday night against the Anaheim Ducks.
\Letang continued to participate in full-contact practice, but is still day-to-day with no return date set.
"(Letang) looked strong out there today and felt really good," head coach Mike Sullivan said. "He's had a handful of practices under his belt right now so everything is pointing in the right direction."
\Sheary wore a full-face shield during the practice. He missed the last five games after suffering the eye injury in Montreal Oct. 18.
"I feel good. It was an eye issues so I couldn't really do much," said Sheary, who has not been cleared to play. "It wasn't painful or affecting my vision. It was just something I had to let heal."
Sheary took a stick to the eye during the game against Montreal and was lucky that things didn't turn out much worse.
"From what I heard from the eye doctor it was pretty close to being more dangerous and more vision problems," Sheary said. "There was a little swelling the first couple of days, but other than that it's been fine."
Sheary took part in line rushes, subbing in for either Scott Wilson or Patric Hornqvist alongside Sidney Crosby.
"It's good to get him back in the practice environment, back skating with the group," Sullivan said. "That's an important step for him."
Sheary will have to wear his full shield in the near future and possibly in a game if he were to return soon, but it's something that he doesn't mind, considering he wore a full cage at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
"College definitely helped," Sheary said of adjusting. "It's a little different looking through the cage as opposed to looking through the visor. But for the most part it's not too bad."
