2017 playoffs release

The Pittsburgh Penguins today announced the return of the outdoor Big Screen for all home games during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The large video screen, a staple of Penguins playoff hockey over the past decade, will be located once again near the Peoples Gate at PPG Paints Arena (at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Washington Place).
Inside PPG Paints Arena, "Gold Outs" will again become the norm as the Penguins will distribute gold t-shirts and towels to all fans in attendance. The team's three playoff-presenting partners - IGS Energy, PPG and UPMC - will provide the t-shirts for Game 1 against Columbus on Wednesday night. Other providers of towels and t-shirts for Games 1 and 2 will be Cooper Tire, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Western PA Honda Dealers.
The KeyBank Fan Zone will be activated outside all three gates starting two hours before each home game. There will be different activities at each gate, including DJs, interactives, face painters and appearances by Iceburgh and the Penguins' Ice Crew. There also will be two party tents outside - one at the Trib Total Media Gate, presented by Pittsburgh Brewing, and one at the Verizon Gate, presented by Coors Light.
Starting Wednesday, fans also may pick up free playoff yards signs at Pittsburgh area DICK'S Sporting Goods locations. The signs are provided by DICK'S Sporting Goods and UPMC.
Meanwhile, AAA Travel is the presenting partner of all Penguins playoff road games. AAA Travel will be giving away a trip to Game 4 in Columbus.
