Three Finalists Named for 'Renovate the Rink'

Three local rinks have been named finalists in the "Renovate the Rink" contest, presented by the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Commercial Construction (PittComm).
Based on fan voting that is underway now and runs through March 9, one of the rinks will receive the grand prize -- $100,000 in renovations.

The Penguins and PittComm will team up to provide $100,000 in materials and construction management services at the winning rink.
More than 400 entries were received during the submission phase of the contest. Rinks in the following counties were eligible: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland.
