MISSION STATEMENT

Creating Opportunities for Racial Equality (CORE) presented by Bridgestone will introduce the game of hockey to new players ages 5 to 9 at no cost and provide a unique opportunity for players of all backgrounds to join the hockey community while developing fundamentals skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice.

CORE presented by Bridgestone will feature six weeks of on-ice instruction at Ford Ice Center Antioch, a full set of equipment to keep, and a light dinner after each practice. Players will be taught the basics of skating and hockey with curriculum created and led by Ford Ice Center staff. No prior skating or hockey experience is required.
