If you're counting the days until Nashville Predators hockey returns, this week's development camp should offer plenty to hold you over until October.
Running Monday to Friday, the camp will not only introduce some of Nashville's top prospects to a potential career in the National Hockey League, but could also lift the curtain on some future Predators stars in the making.

Three on-ice training sessions at Centennial Sportsplex on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are open to the public. The camp's grand finale, the Prospect Showcase Game, will be held at Ford Ice Center Bellevue on Friday at 10:30 a.m. CT and is also open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
So, which prospects are going to be there?
For starters, all six of Nashville's 2022 NHL Draft selections - Joakim Kemell (17th overall), Adam Ingram (82nd overall), Kasper Kulonummi (84th overall), Cole O'Hara (114th overall), Graham Sward (146th overall) and Ben Strinden (210th overall) - will take the ice in Preds gold and navy for the first time.
Russian netminder Yaroslav Askarov, who
signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with Nashville this spring
, will flash his skills in between the pipes at camp as well.
Fans can also expect to see top prospects like Luke Evangelista -
voted to the OHL's Second All-Star Team
and assigned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) this spring; Luke Prokop -
recent Ed Chynoweth Cup winner with the WHL's Edmonton Oil Kings
; and Egor Afanasyev - a regular contributor for the Ads last season.
Add Preds hopefuls Zachary L'Heureux, Juuso Parsinnen, Navrin Mutter, Markus Nurmi, Gunnarwolfe Fontaine, Jack Matier, Luke Reid, Adam Wilsby and more, and fans should be clamoring for a look at Dev Camp this week.
