Roman Josi on Nashville's overall effort:
"It's tough going down 4-0 in the first. To be honest, I didn't think we started that bad. We just gave them very big chances and they scored on them. But we've got to push. We got that goal in the second but we got into a pretty big hole going down 4-0 in the first period and it's the second time that we've given up a few early goals in two games, so we've got to figure out our start."
Roman Josi on costly turnovers in the first period:
"Like I said, I didn't think we played that bad. The goals they got we kind of gave to them and they were massive chances in front of our net. So, we've got to clear that up. Obviously you can't give a team that many grade-A looks and that's definitely something we need to be better at."
Head Coach John Hynes on Nashville's overall effort:
"It got away from us in the first. We had some tough decisions that we made and gave up some easy offense, whether that was decisions up ice that created some odd man rushes, we had a couple of breakout turnovers that wound up on their tape and right in the slot. That's not how we want to be able to play in the first period, for sure… Tonight was a different situation [than Vancouver]. And when you look at it, yes, we give up the first goal again early, in the first minute basically. And then we had an ill-advised pinch and gave up an odd man rush and then we had two breakout turnovers that wound up right in the back of the net with some real quality looks on that. So, that was more of our execution than it was anything else."
Head Coach John Hynes on Kevin Lankinen's performance:
"He came in and played well. We made some pushes in the game but he made some big plays for us. I thought he came in and played well and played solid and kept it at four when we were trying to claw our way back into the game. So, he did his job."
