The Nashville Predators (24-19-6) will hit the road for the first time since Jan. 19 for a Saturday matinee against the Philadelphia Flyers (22-22-9) at Wells Fargo Center.
The puck drops at 11:30 a.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on Bally Sports South, 102.5 The Game and El Jefe Radio. Here's everything you need to know:

The Good Guys

  • Goaltender Juuse Saros represented the Predators at the 2023 NHL All-Star Game on Feb. 4, his second career appearance at the event. Saros is 16-8-4 with a 2.55 goals-against average and .926 save percentage in his last 28 games dating back to Nov. 12. His 16 wins in that time frame are tied for the fourth-most in the NHL.
  • Filip Forsberg leads all Predators skaters with 19 goals. He has 38 points (16g-22a) in his last 42 games dating back to Oct. 22 vs. Philadelphia. He has 10 goals and 16 points in his last 17 games, including goals in three straight games from Jan. 9-12 (3g).
  • Roman Josi (12g-30a) is tied with Forsberg (19g-23a) for the team lead in points with 42. He has 38 points (11g-27a) in his last 40 games after tallying an assist Tuesday vs. Vegas. Josi has recorded at least one point in 13 of his last 16 contests.
  • Juuso Parssinen, who made his NHL debut on Nov. 12 vs. the Rangers, has 21 points (5g-16a) in his first 35 career NHL games. He recorded his 20th career point in his 34th career NHL game against New Jersey. Among players to debut with the Predators, only three rookies have recorded their first 20 NHL points in fewer games: Craig Smith (25 GP), Alexander Radulov (29 GP) and Filip Forsberg (32 GP). Parssinen's 21 points since Nov. 12 - his NHL debut - are tied for the second-most among NHL rookies in that time span.
  • Matt Duchene has 18 points (9g-9a) in his last 21 games, including his first multi-goal game of the season on Jan. 24 vs. Los Angeles. He's recorded multiple points in two of his last four games (3g-1a).
  • After opening the season with three points (1g-2a) in his first 16 appearances (Oct. 7-Dec. 12), Cody Glass owns 15 points (6g-9a) in his last 23 games, including goals in two of his last three contests (2g). His 14 points since Dec. 13 are the fourth-most among Predators forwards in that time span. Glass has found the scoresheet in six of his last nine contests, posting seven points (3g-4a) during that span. Glass has established career highs in goals (7), assists (11) and points (18) this season.

The Other Guys

The Flyers captured a 2-1 shootout decision over the Edmonton Oilers at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday. Three of their last five games have gone to overtime or a shootout, including back-to-back OT losses on Jan. 24-26.
Travis Konecny leads all Philadelphia skaters with 49 points (24g-25a), and his 24 goals are also a team high. Goaltender Carter Hart is 16-15-8 in 38 starts this season, with a .913 save percentage and a 2.80 Goals Against Average.

All-Time Meetings

The Predators are 13-12-(3)-3 all-time against the Flyers, including a 6-7-(1)-2 record on the road. This is the second and final matchup between Nashville and Philadelphia in 2022-23 and the first and only at the Wells Fargo Center.
Nashville is 0-1-0 against Philadelphia this season, dropping a 3-1 decision at home on Oct. 22. The Predators are 2-3-0 in their last five games against the Flyers.

Last Time Out

Nashville moved to 14-8-3 at home in 2022-23 with Tuesday's loss to Vegas. In their first game since Jan. 26, the Predators had a season-low 17 shots on goal - their fewest since Jan. 24, 2021 at Dallas (17). Duchene opened the scoring with Nashville's lone goal at 5:04 of the first period; the goal was assisted by Josi and Forsberg.
