The Nashville Predators have a chance at redemption tonight as they finish their two-game set against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena.
After scoring the first goal on Saturday night in the first meeting of the season between the two clubs, the Preds allowed the Bolts to score four times in the second period. Nashville showed fight in the third and almost tied the game in the final moments of regulation, but the night ended with a 4-3 loss for the visitors.
Tonight, the Predators will look to erase the memory of a disappointing second stanza and instead build on a third period that was arguably one of their better 20-minute segments of the season.

Coach Hynes previews Nashville's rematch in Tampa Bay

"We continued to fight, continued to play to be able to give ourselves a chance to go and get back in the game, so that's a positive," Preds Head Coach John Hynes said following Saturday's loss. "The response to this was better than when we were down coming in the third period against Dallas [in a 7-0 loss], so I think the third period was something that we certainly build on."

Duchene says Preds know what it takes to beat Bolts

The Predators were without forward Calle Jarnkrok (IR) once more on Saturday night in Tampa Bay, but Jarnkrok is on the trip to Florida and could play at some point this week. Forward Rocco Grimaldi and defenseman Jarred Tinordi were scratched for Nashville on Saturday.
