Rinne on his goaltending partner, Juuse Saros:
"He's an amazing young goalie. He's a fun guy to work with, he's a great partner and he's shown so many times that he can steal games. He has a bright future ahead of him. I think he's ready to play more games, and he's just a great goalie."
On Preds defenseman, Mattias Ekholm:
"He could be here right now, and probably, in my opinion, he should be. But he's been just an absolute stud for us. He's been awesome, and he's so reliable. When he's in the lineup, it's easy to take it for granted, and if you're missing that guy, it shows. He's having a tremendous season, and I'm just very happy for him the way he's playing and how important he is for our team."
On what it was like to host the 2016 NHL All-Star Weekend in Nashville:
"When it was in Nashville, it was so much fun… I always remember that game. At the time, it was all that people were talking about, Nashville putting on such a good show. It was showcasing the city, showcasing the hockey and it was was a great event. I got to share it with three other of my teammates (Roman Josi, James Neal and Shea Weber) and it was just a great experience."
On if he expects Predators General Manager to make any moves before the NHL Trade Deadline on Feb. 25:
"He wants to win as much as anybody, and I think he's shown time after time that he's willing to do whatever it takes to do what he thinks is going to make our team better. Knowing that as a player, it feels good. I don't want to speculate if there's going to be moves or not, but I know for a fact that he's probably turning every single stone to make our team better."
On how he feels about the Predators right now:
"Now that guys are getting back healthy I feel very comfortable with our team and very confident. I love my team right now and love my teammates."
