The All-Star Break has concluded and the Nashville Predators begin the unofficial second half of the season tonight when they host the Chicago Blackhawks at Bridgestone Arena.
It's the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs; Nashville currently holds a 2-0-1 advantage over Chicago.

A positive development emerged from Monday's practice in Nashville as Filip Forsberg (Injured Reserve, upper-body), who had been participating in recent practices with a non-contact jersey, traded that in for a regular sweater. Forsberg took his place alongside Ryan Johansen and Viktor Arvidsson during line rushes, and while there was no confirmation as to whether or not Forsberg will dress tonight, a return to the lineup appears imminent.

Last Time Out:
Prior to this weekend's All-Star festivities in Tampa Bay, Pekka Rinne and the Preds shut out the New Jersey Devils by a 3-0 final on Thursday. P.K. Subban, Mattias Ekholm and Arvidsson scored on the evening, while Rinne posted his fourth shutout of the season.
Subban is on a three-game goal streak and leads the Preds in scoring with 37 points, followed by Forsberg (IR) with 34, then Arvidsson and Kevin Fiala with 30 points apiece. Forsberg, Arvidsson and Craig Smith all have 15 goals each; Fiala has 13.
The Opposition:
Chicago is coming off a 5-1 win over Detroit last week, but had dropped four straight prior to that. The Blackhawks, who currently sit last in the Central Division, are led by Patrick Kane with 20 goals and 49 points, followed by Nick Schmaltz with 35 points, and then Alex DeBrincat and Jonathan Toews with 32 points each. Out of the lineup due to injury, goaltender Corey Crawford has seen Anton Forsberg and Jeff Glass mind the net in his place.

All-Time Meetings:
The Predators are 48-47-(4)-9 all-time against the Blackhawks, including a 27-20-(3)-3 mark all-time against Chicago at Bridgestone Arena. Including the postseason, Nashville is 6-0-1 in their last seven meetings against the Hawks.
Notables Versus Chicago:
Kyle Turris is on a three-game point streak (1g-3a) against Chicago. Pekka Rinne made his NHL debut and earned his first career victory on Dec. 15, 2005, versus Chicago.
