And then there was one.
The Nashville Predators will conclude their 2017-18 regular season - one that has become the best in franchise history - tonight as the Columbus Blue Jackets come to town.
With a win in Washington Thursday, the Predators not only clinched their first Central Division and regular-season Western Conference titles in club history, but a Florida Panthers victory over Boston also gave Nashville the Presidents' Trophy as the League's top point-getter.

It's certainly been a remarkable six months, and the Predators would love nothing more than to collect one more win - the 52 they have also set a franchise record - as tonight's contest provides one more opportunity for the Preds to fine-tune their game before the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin next week.
It's also Fan Appreciation Night at Bridgestone Arena with plenty of giveaways in store for fans (details below).

Last Time Out:
Craig Smith scored twice to help the Predators to a 4-3 win over the Capitals on Thursday night in Washington. Roman Josi and Ryan Johansen also tallied in the victory, while Juuse Saros made 29 saves on the evening to collect his 11th win of the season.
Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg enter tonight's contest tied for the team lead in scoring with 61 points apiece, followed by P.K. Subban with 59 points, and then Roman Josi and Ryan Johansen with 53 points each. Arvidsson's 29 goals lead the club, followed by Smith with 25, then Forsberg and Kevin Fiala with 23 each.
The Opposition:
The Blue Jackets clinched their spot in the postseason in a 4-3 overtime loss to Pittsburgh on Thursday night; they've collected point in five straight.
Artemi Panarin leads the Jackets with 27 goals and 82 points, followed by former Preds defenseman Seth Jones with 57 points and Pierre-Luc Dubois with 48 points. Cam Atkinson has tallied 24 goals on the season; Dubois has 20. Sergei Bobrovsky has gone 37-22-6 on the season, while Joonas Korpisalo is 8-7-1.

All-Time Meetings:
The Predators are 57-19-(1)-6 all-time against the Blue Jackets, including a 33-5-(1)-3 mark all-time against Columbus at Bridgestone Arena. On home ice, the Preds have won three in a row over the Blue Jackets dating back to Nov. 29, 2014. In the Preds' 42 home games against the Blue Jackets, they've only lost five times in regulation, with two of those losses coming in the first three matchups between the two teams.
Notables Versus Columbus:
Pekka Rinne is 20-8-2 against the Blue Jackets in his career with a 2.29 goals-against average, .921 save percentage and two shutouts. Mattias Ekholm has a four-game point streak (2g-3a) versus the Blue Jackets.

Fan Appreciation Night at Bridgestone Arena begins with a Plaza Party, presented by Lee Company, starting at 5 p.m. CT on the Arena plaza. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. ahead of the 7 p.m. puck drop. All fans in attendance will receive a Gold Preds visor, presented by Bridgestone.
Fans are encouraged to get to their seats early for a special presentation prior to puck drop featuring the awarding of the Presidents' Trophy.
