The Nashville Predators will look to keep their franchise-best start to the season going tonight when they host the Boston Bruins at Bridgestone Arena. It's the first of two meetings between the clubs this season; the Preds will be in Boston three days before Christmas.
The Predators have hit the 10-win mark quicker than any club in franchise history, thanks to a 4-1 victory in Tampa Bay on Thursday night. A stellar performance in net from goaltender Pekka Rinne, who returned after missing five games due to injury, helped to deliver the two points.
Forward Viktor Arvidsson and Zac Rinaldo both missed Thursday's game with lower-body injuries and are considered day-to-day. Rinaldo participated in Nashville's optional practice on Friday.
