How to Watch, Live Stream Kings vs. Preds

The Predators return to Nashville tonight after a five-game trip to start a three-game homestand of their own, beginning with the Los Angeles Kings. It's the first of three meetings between the two clubs this season; the second comes in February before the finale in March.
Nashville is looking to get back in the win column after dropping three straight for the first time this season. The Preds began their road trip with wins in Colorado and Dallas before falling to the Ducks in a shootout, and then suffering regulation losses in San Jose on Tuesday and Arizona on Thursday.
The Predators managed to register 46 shots against the Coyotes in their last outing, and although two points ultimately eluded them, they'll look to build off that effort tonight against the Kings.

"We played a lot better and had a lot more chances," Preds Captain Roman Josi said following the game in Arizona. "It was just one of those nights, and it happens throughout the season. We just have to keep doing the same things the next game, and hopefully it'll go in."
Forward Austin Watson returned to the Preds lineup on Thursday, recording an assist and leading the team with five hits. Forward Calle Jarnkrok and defenseman Dan Hamhuis were also back, both returning from injury.
Nashville will be without defenseman P.K. Subban once again tonight after he was placed on Injured Reserve on Thursday. Subban will have to miss at least the next two games due to the designation.

Last Time Out:
Nick Bonino potted his first goal of the season, but the Predators were only able to beat Coyotes netminder Darcy Kuemper once, despite 46 shots in a 2-1 loss.
Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen share the team lead in points with 18 each, followed by Kyle Turris with 13 and Roman Josi with 12. Forsberg has 12 goals on the season, while Josi, Craig Smith and Ryan Hartman have five goals apiece.
The Opposition:
Los Angeles (6-11-1) defeated the Chicago Blackhawks in a shootout last night; 2-1 was the final. Goaltender Calvin Petersen collected his first NHL win last night, so the Preds are likely to see Peter Budaj in net this evening.
Back in the NHL this season, Ilya Kovalchuk leads the Kings with five goals and 14 points, followed by Jeff Carter and Drew Doughty with 10 points each. Tyler Toffoli also has five goals, while Carter and Anze Kopitar have four goals apiece.

The Preds are 33-26-(3)-8 all-time against the Kings, including a 14-15-(3)-2 record at Bridgestone Arena. The Predators have lost once in regulation to the Kings in their last 15 meetings, and Nashville has won three straight games over Los Angeles, outscoring them 13-6 in the process.

Roman Josi is Nashville's active points leader against Los Angeles with 11 points (4g-7a) in 19 career games vs. the Kings. Craig Smith has 10 points (6g-4a) in 22 games against the Kings, including two goals in his last three contests.
