After suffering a 3-1 loss last night in Tampa Bay, the Predators return to Nashville to host the Lightning tonight at Bridgestone Arena. This evening's contest will close out a home-and-home set between the two clubs, with the Preds looking to move to 3-1-0 in the preseason.
Tonight marks the fourth preseason contest for both teams, and for Nashville, it will mean the debut of some players who have yet to see game action. Forwards Matt Duchene, Ryan Johansen, Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson, Captain Roman Josi and goaltender Pekka Rinne are all set to make their preseason debuts tonight for the Preds.
"At some point, we're going to start putting our team together," Predators Head Coach Peter Laviolette said Friday night. "There's still a lot of young kids in here, and we're just evaluating them. We'll go home [tonight] against the same team with a chance for some of the players who haven't seen any action yet to get in there."
