Just 24 hours after another come-from-behind victory, the Nashville Predators will hit the ice once more, this time in Vancouver to face the Canucks. It's the third and final meeting of the season between the two clubs; Nashville is currently 1-1-0 in the series.
Just as they did on Tuesday in Winnipeg to start their four-game road trip, the Predators mounted another comeback on Thursday night in Edmonton, erasing a 2-0 deficit to score four answered and win their sixth straight.
The victory gave Predators General Manager David Poile his 1,320th career victory to become the all-time winningest GM in NHL history.
"We're all just glad to be a part of it," Predators Head Coach Peter Laviolette said of Poile's achievement following the win. "There's no question that he deserves everything that he gets. He works incredibly hard at his job, he works incredibly hard at the human side of things, inside of an organization, and he's just a terrific person, a terrific GM. It's very well deserved, and I can tell you that, just from being on the inside and speaking for what I know, he's earned it. He's really earned it."
