After beginning their four-game trip with a dramatic overtime win in Brooklyn on Monday, the Predators have made their way to Toronto for a date with the Maple Leafs tonight at the Air Canada Centre. It's the first meeting of the season between the two clubs; Toronto is scheduled to visit Nashville in late March.
The Predators have won three consecutive games, scoring five goals in each of those contests. Forward Kevin Fiala has scored two goals in each of his last two outings and goaltender Pekka Rinne has won eight consecutive starts as the Predators continue to hover at the top of the Central Division.

Nashville will once again be without forward Filip Forsberg tonight as he serves game two of a three-game suspension for interference.

Last Time Out:
The Predators scored three unanswered goals, including a game-tying strike from Ryan Johansen with 42 second left in regulation before Roman Josi ended Monday's game in overtime, a 5-4 win against the Islanders. Fiala's two goals in the first period were complemented by Calle Jarnkrok's goal in the middle frame, while Kyle Turris (200th career assist) and Nick Bonino (200th career point) each recorded milestones.
Toronto native P.K. Subban continues to lead the Preds in scoring with 41 points, followed by Forsberg with 38, and then Fiala, Viktor Arvidsson and Johansen with 35, 34 and 33 points, respectively. Fiala and Arvidsson are tied for the team lead in goals with 17 each, Craig Smith has 16 and Subban has 13.
The Opposition:
Toronto has won five of their last six games, including a 7-4 victory over Anaheim on Monday. Auston Matthews leads Toronto's high-powered offense with 25 goals and 43 points, followed by William Nylander with 41 points and Mitch Marner with 37. James van Riemsdyk has 20 goals on the season; Patrick Marleau and Nazem Kadri have 17 goals each. Frederik Andersen is 25-15-4 on the season, but the Preds could face Curtis McElhinney tonight after Andersen left Monday's game due to injury.

On Nov. 18, 2014, fifteen Preds skaters reached the scoresheet, led by Taylor Beck's two goals and assist, as Nashville tied a franchise record for goals in a game, topping Toronto 9-2 at the Air Canada Centre.
