A new win streak is on the minds of the Nashville Predators tonight as they conclude a three-game home stretch by hosting the New York Rangers at Bridgestone Arena. It's the second and final meeting between the two clubs this season; Nashville dropped a 4-2 decision in Manhattan back in October.
The Predators enjoyed a completely healthy lineup for the first time this season on Thursday night and a blowout of the Los Angeles Kings followed. It was an impressive effort from Nashville, a showing they hope to replicate with their full complement of players as the stretch to the postseason heats up.

"When we're all playing on the same page like we were tonight, playing within our system and going out there and executing our game plan really well, we're a dangerous club," Predators center Ryan Johansen said following Thursday's win. "It's exciting for us, because we're super anxious to hopefully let these couple of months fly by as fast as possible and play for that Cup again. We understand, though, that we have to take it day by day and keep approaching every game and practice the way we approached the game tonight and we'll be successful for sure."

Last Time Out:
Filip Forsberg returned from an upper-body injury to tally a goal and an assist as the Preds shut out the Kings by a 5-0 final. Pekka Rinne recorded his fifth shutout of the season, helping Nashville to their eighth blanking of an opponent this season, tops in the League. Craig Smith, Calle Jarnkrok, Colton Sissons and Viktor Arvidsson also scored in the win, while Johansen recorded three assists.
Defenseman P.K. Subban continues to lead the team in scoring with 38 points, one of three blueliners to pace their teams in points. Forsberg follows with 36 points, with Arvidsson, Johansen and Kevin Fiala sitting at 31 points apiece. Forsberg, Arvidsson and Smith are all tied for the team lead in goals with 16.

The Rangers returned from the All-Star Break to drop a 4-0 decision to Toronto on Thursday night. Former Preds forward Cody McLeod, claimed on waivers by the Rangers last week, dished out eight hits in his debut with his new club.

Nashville is 10-12-(1)-2 all-time against the Rangers, including a 4-5-(0)-2 record at Bridgestone Arena. The Preds have earned at least one point in three-straight games against the Rangers at home (2-0-1).
