The Nashville Predators will try to break out of their slump tonight as the New York Rangers come to town. It's the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs; the Preds defeated the Rangers at Madison Square Garden back on Opening Night.
Nashville registered 49 shots on goal Thursday night against the Stars, but they were unable to beat goaltender Anton Khudobin in a 2-0 loss. It was the fifth-consecutive defeat suffered by the Preds.
The Predators did receive some good news on the injury front, however, as forward Viktor Arvidsson and defenseman P.K. Subban both returned to the lineup from their respective upper-body injuries. However, defenseman Yannick Weber joined Filip Forsberg and Colton Sissons on IR prior to Thursday's game.

Tonight, Nashville will look to improve further on the impressive effort they put together against Dallas - an outing that certainly could have gone in their favor.
"We are going to build off of this and get out of this thing, it's just a matter of keeping our focus where it needs to be," Subban said following Thursday's contest. "That's on the next game, for now."
