Jr. Preds 19U Girls Bring Home USA Hockey National Championship Title

Let's hear it for the girls.
For the first time in program history, the Nashville Jr. Predators 19U Girls team are national champions, after defeating the Arizona Kachinas in a thrilling, come-from-behind 4-3 victory at the 2023 Chipotle-USA Hockey National Championship game in Irvine, California on Monday.
"We're beyond proud," Head Coach Kahlie Singletary said. "I think if you would have asked anybody at the beginning of the season if this would have been the team to accomplish this, nobody would have thought it."

While many surrounding the team considered 2022-23 a rebuild year, the Jr. Preds concluded their regular season with a 23-16-1 record before punching their ticket to nationals with a Southeastern District Championship win.
