With three forwards out of the Nashville Predators lineup due to illness, winger Kevin Fiala made good use of his increased ice time.
The rookie tallied two goals in the second period on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins, marking the first multi-goal game of his career. D-man Matt Carle picked up an assist on Fiala's first tally to record his first point in a Predators sweater.
