At Bridgestone Arena, the work to remain at the peak of live sports and entertainment never stops.
Even as crews continue their efforts to restore the venue after flooding damaged the event level in late November, fan-facing arena renovations and upgrades have continued to ensure guests always leave Bridgestone Arena having received a premium live entertainment experience.

"We used to try to get a lot of our stuff done in the offseason before opening night and it'd be a big wow factor for our fans," Senior Vice President of Operations Dave Urso said. "And then due to our playoff success over the past several years and just the business of the building and the number of events we have, we weren't really getting a break in the summer. So we just decided to not try to hit the date. If we can get something done and it's in the middle of the season, let's do it… If we're going to improve the building, there's no reason for us to wait for the perfect time to do it because we don't get a perfect time just due to the fact that we're one of the top 10 busiest buildings in the world."
One of the busiest venues in the world just got that much better. Here are four of the newest additions to Bridgestone guests of the arena can expect to see on their next visit:
Music City Taps
Craft beer has become as synonymous with the Music City as honky tonks or hot chicken, so naturally Bridgestone Arena would want a space to offer fans the very best Nashville has to offer.

Music City Taps

Music City Taps, located outside section 119, is a newly renovated bar featuring several options from Yazoo Brewing Company on draft, as well as your more classic mixed drink fare.
Big Machine Vodka Electric Lounge
Another local company getting new digs at the arena is Big Machine Vodka, which opened its Electric Lounge outside section 120 this month.

Here guests can find - you guessed it - several mixed drink options from the premium local distillery as well as two giant video walls so visitors won't miss a second of the action while they stop in for a refreshment.
Amazon Just Walk Out Technology
The future of arena concessions is here, and naturally Bridgestone Arena had to have it.
Amazon Just Walk Out Technology, currently available at the Twice Daily store outside section 323, allows guests to swipe a card at the door, select the concessions items they'd like and return to their seats without needing to stand in line at a register.
Not futuristic enough for you? Guests also have the option to scan their palm print at the door to process payments - and of course - link their Amazon account and its payment methods to the store.
The cutting edge technology has been so popular, the arena will soon be adding another location outside section 113.
Cotton Candy… Robot?
As it turns out, the future of cotton candy is here too, and guests wanting a helping of the sugary concessions classic can stop by section 119 to give the fun new machine a whirl.
This isn't your grandparents' cotton candy machine, either.

Don't want to settle between blue or pink? Want Preds gold? Vols orange? No problem.
Simply insert your payment, select one of 25 different flavor options and watch as your custom cotton candy is made before your eyes.

Future's Bright

As fans arrive at Bridgestone Arena for a game or a big show in the coming weeks, they'll likely notice a bit more glow outside the venue's SoBro entrance.
The new illumination will come from two brand-new LED display boards replacing existing older displays.
The first - a guitar pick LED board 34 percent larger than its rectangular predecessor - will go up on the Demonbreun-facing side of the arena.

The second - an 89 percent larger rectangular LED board - will replace the current screen wrapping around the corner of the arena on Demonbreun and Rep. John Lewis Way.

Construction is already underway on the new display boards and is expected to be fully completed by New Year's Eve.
