Nashville, Tenn. (February 6, 2019) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Wednesday the club has acquired forward Cody McLeod from the New York Rangers in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
McLeod, 34 (6/26/84), has a goal and 60 penalty minutes in 31 games with the Rangers this season, his 12th NHL campaign. The 6-foot-2, 204-pound left wing suited up in 54 games for the Predators in parts of two seasons in 2016-17 and 2017-18, adding seven points and 165 penalty minutes, including a goal in his Nashville debut on Jan. 14, 2017.
