Nashville, Tenn. (August 15, 2019) - The Nashville Predators Foundation announced today a multi-year partnership with Nashville-based teledentistry pioneer SmileDirectClub. This groundbreaking naming partnership of a local professional sports team's community organization will allow the Preds Foundation to greatly expand upon the life-changing work that they have been committed to for over 20 years.
Through this partnership with SmileDirectClub, the Nashville Predators Foundation will introduce new SuperGrants, which will be awarded to Middle Tennessee community organizations to complete large-scale projects in support of education, health, and cultural needs across the state. The annual grants will range from $25,000 to $100,000 and will be awarded to several Tennessee-based organizations to further the empowerment of youths and their families during times of transition. The first SuperGrant will be awarded in the coming weeks.
"The mission of the Nashville Predators Foundation is to build meaningful, philanthropic partnerships within our community," said Predators Foundation Vice President Rebecca King. "In joining forces with SmileDirectClub, we have found the perfect partner who shares our passion for giving back. Through their significant investment into our community, together, we will have the opportunity to make an impact and create more smiles across Nashville and Middle Tennessee."
