The Finnish netminder went 3-0-0 over the past seven days, making 83 saves for a .976 save % and only allowing two goals in the trio of contests (for a 0.67 goals-against average) . Following a 27-save shutout of the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday - the 41st of the career and initial blank sheet of the season - Rinne was described as "brilliant" by his head coach.
