Askarov-celero

Nashville, Tenn. (January 13, 2023) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has reassigned goaltender Yaroslav Askarov to Milwaukee (AHL).
Askarov, 20 (6/16/02), made his NHL debut on Thursday in Montreal, stopping 31 of 35 shots in a 4-3 defeat at the Bell Centre. In doing so, he became the youngest goaltender in Predators history to debut with the franchise (20 years, 210 days); he also became the fourth Nashville goalie to make at least 30 saves in his first career NHL game. Askarov, who was named to the 2023 AHL All-Star Classic on Wednesday, has kicked off his first professional season in North America with a 13-6-2 record, 2.66 goals-against average and .905 save percentage with Milwaukee.

To celebrate Juuse Saros being named to the 2023 NHL All-Star Game, the Predators are offering a special All-Star Promotion, a $74 package that offers two upper-level tickets to Nashville's game on Jan. 16 vs. Calgary or Jan. 17 vs. Columbus, $20 in GNASH cash and a Saros digital player card.
