Nashville, Tenn. (January 19, 2019) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Saturday that the club has recalled forward Colin Blackwell from Milwaukee (AHL).
Blackwell, 25 (4/28/93), has seven goals in 14 games for the Admirals, his first season with the team. Despite missing 27 games due to injury, he sits tied for sixth on Milwaukee in goals and has found the back of the net three times in his last three contests, including a two-goal performance on Jan. 12 vs. San Diego. Last season, Blackwell tallied 45 points (17g-28a) in 61 games with the Rochester Americans, the most among all forwards on the team. The 5-foot-9 center made his pro debut in 2016-17 with the San Jose Barracuda and has posted 63 points (28g-35a) in 132 career AHL games.
