Nashville, Tenn. (June 12, 2018) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday the team's six-game 2018 preseason schedule, beginning with a doubleheader in Florida against the Panthers on Sept. 17. The Predators will play a home-and-home against the Tampa Bay Lightning before taking on the Carolina Hurricanes twice to close out their preseason slate.
The 2018 preseason schedule marks the seventh consecutive training camp - and fifth-straight year - that the Predators and Panthers will play a split-squad doubleheader. Nashville will then face off against Tampa Bay on back-to-back nights, hosting the Lightning on Sept. 21 and traveling to Tampa on Sept. 22. The Predators will round out their preseason campaign with two contests against the Hurricanes, welcoming Carolina to Nashville on Sept. 25 before playing them on the road five days later on Sept. 30. The 2018-19 regular season opens the following week.
