Nashville, Tenn. (September 12, 2018) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Wednesday the complete schedule and roster for the team's 2018 training camp, which will begin with physicals and a team meeting on Thursday, Sept. 13 with the club's first organized practice set for Saturday, Sept. 15 at 9:45 a.m. CT at Centennial Sportsplex. Dates, times and the roster are subject to change.
Nashville's three-week training camp is headlined by six preseason games, beginning with a doubleheader on the road against the Florida Panthers on Sept. 17 (2:30 and 6 p.m. CT). The Predators then will face off against the Tampa Bay on back-to-back nights, hosting the Lightning on Sept. 21 and traveling to Tampa on Sept. 22. Nashville will close out its preseason slate with two games against the Hurricanes, welcoming Carolina to Bridgestone Arena on Sept. 25 before playing them on the road five days later on Sept. 30.
All training camp sessions - with the exception of a 2 p.m. CT scrimmage at Ford Ice Center on Sept. 16 - will be held at Centennial Sportsplex (Note: The scrimmage is pre-register and for Preds Season-Ticket Citizens only).
Training camp will be attended by 55 players - 48 are under contract with Nashville and seven are on American Hockey League contracts with the Milwaukee Admirals or are attending on an amateur or professional tryout.
