Predators Announce 2021 Training Camp Roster, Schedule

The Nashville Predators are heading back to work.
Predators Training Camp presented by Vanderbilt Health begins on Sunday at Bridgestone Arena when a total of
40 players - 24 forwards, 12 defensemen and four goaltenders
- will gather for meetings, off-ice testing and media activities. The team will then take to the ice on Monday for the first practice of the 11-day camp led by Preds Head Coach John Hynes.
Six practices - plus two Blue & Gold scrimmages, one on Jan. 8, the other on Jan. 10 - are scheduled to take place over the next two weeks ahead of Nashville's 2020-21 season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Jan. 14 at Bridgestone Arena.

The following players will be vying to make the 23-man roster or the four-to-six-player taxi squad by the end of camp:
Forwards (24): Filip Forsberg, Colton Sissons, Luke Kunin, Yakov Trenin, Brad Richardson, Rem Pitlick, Calle Jarnkrok, Nick Cousins, Rocco Grimaldi, Mathieu Olivier, Eeli Tolvanen, Viktor Arvidsson, Cole Smith, Sean Malone, Patrick Harper, Michael McCarron, Josh Wilkins, Erik Haula, Mikael Granlund, Tommy Novak, Tanner Jeannot, Ryan Johansen, Anthony Richard and Matt Duchene.
Defensemen (12): Tyler Lewington, Ryan Ellis, Matt Benning, Yannick Weber (PTO) Mattias Ekholm, Ben Harpur, Jarred Tinordi, Jeremy Davies, Alexandre Carrier, Dante Fabbro, Roman Josi, and Mark Borowiecki.
Goaltenders (4): Pekka Rinne, Connor Ingram, Kasimir Kaskisuo and Juuse Saros.
\Players in bold appeared in the NHL during the 2019-20 season.
\Forwards Mikael Granlund (immigration) and Erik Haula (expecting birth of first child) will not be present at the start of training camp.
\Defenseman Yannick Weber will join training camp on a professional tryout agreement.
