Nashville, Tenn. (December 1, 2018) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Eeli Tolvanen from Milwaukee (AHL).
Tolvanen, 19 (4/22/99), has four goals and 11 points in 21 games in his rookie North American professional season with the Admirals. He notched his first career AHL goal on Oct. 13 against Hershey and has tallied three multi-point efforts this season, including his first two-goal contest on Nov. 11 at Chicago. He sits second on Milwaukee - and ninth among all AHL rookies - in shots on goal with 48 and is tied for fourth on the Ads in points with 11.

Originally drafted in the first round (30th overall) by the Predators in the 2017 NHL Draft, Tolvanen made his NHL debut with Nashville on March 31, 2018 against the Buffalo Sabres. He played three games with the Preds last season, recording three shots and 12:07 of ice time per game. Prior to joining the Predators, Tolvanen registered 36 points (19g-17a) in 49 games with Jokerit (KHL) and earned a nod to the league's All-Star Game. He also competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics for Finland and had nine points (3g-6a) in five games, tied for the second-most in the tournament.
The Preds have launched the 3-Game Smash Pack presented by Corner Pub, where you choose the games you want to attend, such as all remaining 2018-19 Golden Games including matchups against the Blackhawks, Red Wings, Rangers, and a New Year's Day tilt with the Flyers!
