Nashville, Tenn. (January 16, 2018) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday that the club has recalled forward Frederick Gaudreau from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, the club has placed forward Viktor Arvidsson on Injured Reserve.
Gaudreau, 24 (5/1/93), has four goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 21 games with the Admirals this season. He's recorded three points (1g-2a) in his last five games at the AHL level and tallied the game-winning goal in Milwaukee's 4-1 victory over San Antonio on Friday. The forward has skated in 18 games with Nashville this season, tallying three assists and averaging 9:23 of ice time per game. He recorded his first career multi-point game on Nov. 3 at Anaheim when he picked up two assists in Nashville's 5-3 victory and had an assist on Dec. 5 at Dallas.

Never drafted, Gaudreau tallied 50 goals, 84 assists and 134 points in three seasons with the QMJHL's Shawinigan Cataractes and Drummondville Voltigeurs, winning the Memorial Cup in 2012. He has 115 points (48g-67a) in 205 career AHL games with the Admirals. Last season, Gaudreau became just the second player in NHL history to score each of his first three career goals (regular season and playoffs) in the Stanley Cup Final, joining Chicago's John Harms (1944), after finding the back of the net in Games 1, 3 and 4.
