Jeannot, 24 (5/29/97), made his NHL debut with Nashville on March 2 vs. Carolina and went on to appear in 14 more regular-season contests, tallying five goals and seven points. After picking up two points (2g) in his first eight games with the Predators, Jeannot closed out the regular season with five points in his final seven contests, including his first career multi-point effort on May 10 vs. Carolina (1g-1a). The 6-foot-2, 207-pound forward made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut just seven days later in the opening game of Nashville's first-round series against the Hurricanes and picked up his first career postseason point with an assist in Game 3. Before making the jump to the NHL, Jeannot recorded 21 points (10g-11a) for the AHL's Chicago Wolves, finishing tied for third on the team in the category despite appearing in just 13 games. His AHL season was headlined by a 12-game individual point streak that ran from Feb. 6-April 7. Jeannot began the 2020-21 campaign by skating in the ECHL for the Florida Everblades, where he posted six points (3g-3a) in five contests.
Undrafted, Jeannot is entering his fourth professional season with the organization, having spent the previous two campaigns at the AHL level. He followed up an 11-point (7g-4a) rookie season with the Milwaukee Admirals in 2018-19 by posting 20 points (5g-15a) in 2019-20, helping his team finish with the top record in the AHL. He owns 52 points (22g-30a) and a +19 rating in 107 AHL contests, 94 of which have come with Milwaukee. The Oxbow, Sask., native played his junior hockey for the WHL's Moose Jaw Warriors for four seasons from 2014-18. During his fourth and final WHL campaign, Jeannot served as an assistant captain and recorded a career-high 80 points (40g-40a), the fourth-best mark on his team.
