Nashville, Tenn. (August 31, 2017) - The Nashville Predators and Nashville Predators Foundation announced Thursday their efforts in assisting Texas and all surrounding areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
"The Nashville Predators Foundation is happy to partner with several organizations to help provide relief to all areas affected by the hurricane," Nashville Predators Foundation Senior Director Rebecca King said. "Nashville experienced a flood in 2010 and we remember how impactful the community's donations and time were to helping us rebuild."
Fans have the opportunity to bid, starting today, through an online auction. Among the items are a Pekka Rinne goalie mask, designed to benefit victims of the hurricane, which will be used during the Preds home opener on Tuesday, Oct. 10 against Philadelphia. The winner will get the mask signed postgame by Pekka himself.
