Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile today announced that the club has claimed forward Reid Boucher on waivers from the New Jersey Devils.
Boucher, 23 (9/8/93), has appeared in nine games for the Devils this season, posting a pair of assists, and has amassed 29 points (11g-18a) in 82 career NHL games since the 2013-14 season. The Lansing, Mich., native has also suited up for 164 American Hockey League games since being selected 99th overall (fourth round) by the Devils in 2011, posting 105 points (59g-46a).
A U.S. National Development Team member from 2009-11, the 5-foot-10, 195-pound Boucher also played two seasons with the OHL's Sarnia Sting from 2011-13, leading the league in goals and being named an OHL First-Team All-Star in 2012-13.
