Now that all 14 victories from Nashville's run to the 2017 Stanley Cup Final have been relived, we're going back even further into the vault.
The next round of Predators Golden Classics have been chosen to air on FOX Sports Tennessee in the coming weeks, and some of the best and most memorable games in franchise history are coming back to life.
Seven more games are on the docket, and it all begins Tuesday night, June 16, when the Preds defeat the Detroit Red Wings in Game 5 of the 2012 Western Conference Quarterfinals - Nashville's first playoff series victory against the Wings.
On Thursday, June 18, Game 1 of the 2010 Western Conference Quarterfinals will air, a contest that saw the Preds collect their first road playoff win in team history in a victory against the Blackhawks.
Game 5 of the 2011 Western Conference Quarterfinals comes on June 23, as Jerred Smithson's goal in overtime against Anaheim leads to another first. Game 6 of that series against the Ducks will air on June 25, as the Preds beat Anaheim on Easter Sunday at Bridgestone Arena for their first-ever playoff series win.
Another triumph over the Ducks - this time in Anaheim - comes on June 30, as the Predators win their first Game 7 in franchise history with a 2-1 victory in 2016. Two more classics from 2016 will follow, starting with the longest game in franchise history.
Mike Fisher's game-winning goal in triple overtime in Game 4 of Round 2 in 2016 will be featured on July 2, as the Preds beat the Sharks, and then another OT winner will come on July 7, as Viktor Arvidsson scored in Game 6 to force a seventh game in San Jose.
The games on June 16 and 18 will air at 8 p.m. CT following the Predators simulation games of the NHL20 Stanley Cup Final, which begin at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports Tennessee. The remainder of the games will then air at 7 p.m. CT on FS-TN.
