Preds Ownership Group Members Bryan and Stephanie Grane Pledge $300,000

Nashville, Tenn. (May 12, 2020) - Bryan and Stephanie Grane, recent investors in Predators Holdings, LLC, have partnered with the Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub (the "Predators Foundation") to distribute $300,000 over three years to Middle Tennessee non-profits. As the first two beneficiaries of the Grane family's generosity, Cottage Cove Urban Ministries and Harvest Hands Community Development Center will each receive $50,000 in funding.

"It is truly a pleasure for us to play a small part in furthering the contributions of these two amazing and impactful non-profit organizations," Bryan Grane said. "The Nashville community is special to us in many ways. The passion and kindness that we witness everyday by the local community is inspiring."

Cottage Cove Urban Ministries, which was founded in 1994, has two locations where at-risk youth are offered a safe, caring place to go after school or during school breaks. With the goal of seeing children learn through educational instruction, spiritual guidance and unconditional love, Cottage Cove serves upward of 85 youth every day, all year round. With this funding, Cottage Cove will improve and expand its food and educational material delivery to families who have been impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis. Additionally, upgrades will be made to each of their two locations in preparation for a return to providing on-site learning opportunities, life skills and art classes and daily programs.

"Cottage Cove values the Predators' longstanding partnership with our ministry and all they've done to help the at-risk children we serve. It is only with generous support such as theirs that we have been able to provide free daily programs for the past 25 years. Their proactive commitment and support for Nashville's children and youth provide an example we hope many will follow."

The second beneficiary, Harvest Hands Community Development Center, is a Christ-centered, holistic community development working to further education, healthy living, spiritual formation and economic development in South Nashville. With the belief that neighborhood revitalization begins with investing in the lives of kids, Harvest Hand offers after school programs and sports, while also employing local high schoolers at their social enterprise coffee shop, Humphreys Street. The Grane family's funding will support operating expenses for the Harvest Hands community center and coffee shop, wages for the students who are employed by Humphreys Street and the purchase of 15 laptops for high schoolers who are studying remotely.

"This generous gift from Bryan and Stephanie Grane and the Predators Foundation will provide students with access to technology for distance learning opportunities and allow us to sustain operations during this uncertain time," Harvest Hands Executive Director Brian Hicks said. "While our staff works to adapt programming to keep our students safe, knowing a portion of our operational costs are taken care of frees our team up to focus on connecting with students, creating access to resources and meeting community needs. This partnership is making a difference in South Nashville!"

Bryan and Stephanie Grane, who both grew up in the West Suburbs of Chicago, have a long history of providing philanthropic support for their community. As recent additions to the Predators ownership group, the Grane's existing commitment to Chicagoland non-profits will now expand to the Nashville community. With a total of $300,000 pledged over three years, alongside the Predators Foundation, the Grane's contributions will offer life-changing support to a variety of deserving, youth-focused organizations.
