Hispanic Heritage Month is here, and the Predators have plans to celebrate the Latin culture in Smashville.
In conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month, the Preds are partnering with the Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce to host Hispanic Heritage Day at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 9.
A Plaza Party will commence at noon that Saturday before the Predators host the Carolina Hurricanes at 3 p.m. CT, and a number of activations will be present for fans to enjoy.

That pregame plaza party will include live music from a Latino-music group, plus local vendors from the Hispanic community. Additionally, the Preds are partnering with Vanderbilt University's Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies to showcase a Latin Art exhibit inside the building. Fans will have an opportunity to journey to various countries through art, and the artwork will be auctioned with proceeds distributed to Hispanic charities via the Preds Foundation.
During the game, recording artists Kat & Alex will perform the national anthem with intermission performances by the Marcela Pinilla Band. The Military Salute honoree will be a member of the TN Latin American Chamber Board of Directors, and on the television broadcast on Bally Sports, a special feature highlighting Victor Berrios - the President of Jani-King, President of Latin American Chamber of Commerce and a Nashville Predators GUIDER Advisory Board member - will be shown.
As the month of October continues, the Preds will also highlight 20 Middle Tennessee, Latin-owned businesses as the celebration continues with members of the local community.
Tickets for the Hispanic Heritage Day on Oct. 9 are available at Ticketmaster.com, so make plans to watch the Preds and honor the Latin culture that helps make the Music City such a unique spot to live, work and play.
