The freedoms we enjoy as Americans - like cheering on the Nashville Predators - wouldn't be possible without the men and women of the United States military. Now, it's time to say thanks.
The Preds will host Military Appreciation Week, presented by Ford, over the coming days, to honor those who sacrifice to protect the nation, and it begins Saturday with a special broadcast on Fox Sports Tennessee as the Preds take on the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh. A military theme will include a message from Head Coach Peter Laviolette, and it all leads into a one-of-a-kind week at Bridgestone Arena as the team returns for a three-game home stand.
When the Predators host Arizona this Monday, Calgary on Thursday and San Jose on Saturday, all fans will first be greeted by U.S. Armed Forces vehicles on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza on display for viewing. Upon entry into the Arena, all fans will receive miniature U.S. flags so each patron can participate in the patriotic display.
