Like many Predators players, Ryan Johansen is hoping for a bounce-back season, and he's off to a good start.
Reunited with his most consistent linemates in Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson in training camp, the JOFA line has produced on numerous occasions through two scrimmages, including a pair of goals for Johansen. That trio's output thus far is good news for the Preds, and the team hopes Johansen will play an important role as the No. 1 centerman on the roster once more.

The 28-year-old tallied the fifth-most points among Preds players in 2019-20 with 36 (14g-22a) in 68 games and was third among Predators forwards in assists with 22. He found the scoresheet in all four of Nashville's postseason games against Arizona, tying for the team lead in points with five (1g-4a).
Look for a motivated Johansen to pick up where he left off from his playoff resurgence and lead Nashville's top line, a unit that will undoubtedly need to produce consistently for the team this season.
