The Nashville Predators host the Edmonton Oilers on Mike Fisher Night and NHL Trade Deadline Day.
The Preds (36-23-5) were shut out on Saturday night by the Colorado Avalanche, 5-0. The loss ended a two-game winning streak and three victories in Nashville's last four games. Defenseman Dan Hamhuis was injured during Saturday's contest and has been placed on Injured Reserve (lower-body) along with Craig Smith and Miikka Salomaki.
Edmonton (26-29-6) has points in three consecutive games, including a 2-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. The Oilers will be without captain Connor McDavid tonight as he serves the second part of a two-game suspension.
Nashville held a full morning skate on Monday and were joined by defenseman Matt Donovan, who was recalled from Milwaukee on Monday morning. P.K. Subban missed the session. Below is a Preds projected lineup based on the session:
