The Predators and the Panthers will complete their eight-game season series with two meetings in Nashville over the next two evenings.
Nashville (26-21-1) has seven games remaining in the regular season, and two contests with the Panthers early in the week, before hosting the Stars in a game that could determine which team gets the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division. The Preds last played on Friday and topped the Blackhawks, 3-1, to remain in fourth in the division.
The Predators did not practice over the weekend, but held a full morning skate on Monday at Bridgestone Arena.
The Panthers (31-13-5) have won four of six meetings with the Preds so far and still have their sights set on taking the top spot in the Central. On Saturday, Florida beat Carolina, who currently sits first in the division, 4-3, in overtime. Forward Noel Acciari could return for the Panthers in the next two games.
