The Nashville Predators continue their three-game home stand by hosting the Los Angeles Kings tonight (at 7:30 p.m. CT).
Nashville (29-12-7) was in the news yesterday after announcing their former captain Mike Fisher will end his retirement and intends to sign and play for the club prior to the Feb. 26 trade deadline. Fisher will not be in the projected lineup in the near future, but winger Filip Forsberg (Injured Reserve; upper-body) could return as soon as tonight after skating on the team's first line during Wednesday's practice.
Los Angeles (27-18-5) has won two games in a row, but has dropped the first two (0-1-1) of three games in their season series with Nashville. Goaltender Jonathan Quick is on Injured Reserve.
The Predators held an optional morning skate on Thursday; below is a projected lineup based on Wednesday's practice:
