Tied for the final Western Conference playoff spot, the Nashville Predators and Los Angeles Kings meet at Bridgestone Arena (tonight at 7 p.m. CT).
The Kings claimed a 3-2 overtime win in L.A. on Oct. 28 in the first contest between the clubs. After winning two straight and picking up points in their last three, the Predators have matched the Kings in the standings at 35 points. Another victory on Thursday would put Nashville in playoff position prior to the four-day Christmas Break, which starts tomorrow.
Nashville held a full morning skate on Thursday, but were without defenseman P.K. Subban (day-to-day; upper-body injury). Subban has missed the previous three games with the ailment.
