The Nashville Predators start their final home stand of the season by hosting the Minnesota Wild (tonight at 7 p.m. CT).
The Preds (48-16-11) have dropped three games in a row, but picked up a point in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday. Nashville was without forward Austin Watson and defensemen Alexei Emelin and Yannick Weber for Sunday's game; Emelin and Watson participated in Tuesday's full morning skate. Defenseman Mattias Ekholm also missed the morning skate.
Both Watson and Weber have been listed as day-to-day with upper-body injuries.
Minnesota (42-24-9) has a 3-1-0 record versus Nashville this season, including a 4-1 victory over the Preds on Saturday in St. Paul. The Wild signed forward Jordan Greenway to a contract on Monday and the Boston University star is expected to make his NHL debut tonight in Nashville.
