The Nashville Predators embark on one of their longest remaining road trips of the season, a four-game excursion that starts in Brooklyn (tonight at 6 p.m. CT) against the New York Islanders.
The Preds (31-12-7) learned they'll be without the services of Filip Forsberg, who ranks second on the team in scoring, for three of the four games on the trip
due to a suspension for interference
. Without Forsberg available, Pontus Aberg is expected to return to Nashville's lineup.
New York (26-22-5) won their most recent game, 4-3 over the Columbus Blue Jackets, and was victorious in their first meeting of the season with the Predators, 6-2, on Oct. 28.
