The 2022 Nashville Predators offseason has been like a furious game of "Red Light, Green Light," with moves coming at the most unexpected times.
It's certainly been busy with the Preds stockpiling talent in trades, free agency and the draft. The highlight by far was the
signing of Filip Forsberg, the Preds all-time leading scorer, to an eight-year, $68 million contract.

acquiring defenseman Ryan McDonagh from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

signing veteran Nino Niederreiter to a two-year, $8 million contract

Add in a couple of additional free-agent signings and the
selection of Finnish forward Joakim Kemell with the 17th overall pick
in the 2022 NHL Draft and it's been one of the most productive offseasons in recent memory.
